| Additional Information | Steve says: Originally used daily from new in the North London -Barnet area, sold on Ebay to a lady in Huddersfield who promptly sold it again on ebay 6 weeks later after realising what she had taken on! After collecting it on the Saturday it was promptly put on show in the LEB Register Display at Stanford Hall the very next day!! We have since rubbed down and treated the minor rust areas and changed the starter motor. The car is not very pretty to look at just at the minute but is surprisingly solid - even under the wings and around the bulkhead. Two new wings, a new rubber bonnet seal and a respray in the original colour are planned in the future. Update - September 2005 It's running much better now! - Turns out the distributor rotor arm and cap needed replacing. When I took the old parts off they were marked 1977 !! I'd say 28 years was good going for a rotor arm ! |
