| Additional Information | Nigel says: Bought car off of David in May 05. Worked on her for four months in order that we could use for our wedding day. New front beam, carpets, Jeans seats (couldn't find originals - argh), brake pipes, etc. etc. Passed two MOT's first time. Including the far more stringent IOM one, which at least means it NEVER needs to be MOT'd again - cool eh! She had to be re-registered from XSE847S due to IOM legislation where she has lived since being driven up from Bristol back in September 2006. She is in need of complete body overhaul for which I am desperate to find an enthusiast and artisan with the love and time to help us with :) In the meantime, she goes on forever but rusts a little more each day :( She still has the two flat tyres from years ago, which I put air in once a week as I drive her effortlessly to work EVERY day. I have only ever seen two other Beetles here - one a wizard. P.S. Odometer had never worked and somehow she has lost four miles !!!! |
