Scott has only had the car a few months, having bought it from a family who were the second owners. The first owner was an old lady who mislaid lots of the documentation.
The car appears to have been blown over with 2 pack silver, and although it has been done well, it has a few chips and scratches, plus a small dent on the front wing that was done the day before Scott picked it up. A professional respray has been booked for summertime, by a local painter whose work has won prizes. The engine runs well, and the car is used every day. It's a pleasure to drive, but Scott has plans to do a few bits of work - maintenance really, such as new brakes and steering coupling. Scott replaced the fuel line recently after he returned to the car and found a pool of fuel at the back end. He would also like to re-cover the seats, though it's difficult to find the correct material. |
