Fitting out the dashboard

Work continues apace, with much of the dashboard zone now reassembled. The original padded dash is back in place, and the steering column has been installed, despite its efforts to resist.

Note the ‘new’ radio. It came out of a vintage Porsche, so if that doesn't make the Beetle go faster, what will ?

Having finally got all the bodywork holes filled in, it was time to drill some new ones to feed the cables to the lights through. Ho hum !
