A car of two halves - but not for much longer

February 2007 saw the momentous day when the Beetle‘s bodyshell and chassis were brought back together. The shell was very carefully raised on a car lift, and oh-so-gently lowered onto the rolling chassis.

Tah-dah !!

Here‘s the Bug back in one piece (well, less pieces than before).
