Interior

Just a few photos from the inside this month, as most of the action is bodywork-related.

Inside view of roof  Interior light  Handbrake lever cover

Under the hood

What a lot of untidy things there are under the bonnet of a Last Edition Beetle ! All this jumble of hoses and wires will be hidden under the board lining that protects the luggage bay and conceals the spaghetti.

Doors

Getting the doors aligned properly was a long and laborious process, and they were fitted and removed for modification several times by Julie’s highly-skilled and very patient assembly team, brother David and dad John.

Bodywork complete

The end really is in sight now, with all the major body panels fitted.

Lopsided, but getting there  Nearside headlight installed  Filler cap  Rear light lenses installed  Number plate  Bumper mountings installed  Running board installed  A flattering view  Looking deceptively complete
